Clive Sensible mini circus tent

Britains smallest tented circus was packed for its two performances. Despite the cold wind and showers it was busy all day long with children and families learning all sorts of circus skills including juggling, using a diabalo and walking on stilts.

Dog Show

Our RSPCA Dog Show of the year was held as part of Congleton Carnival on 19 July, at Hankinsons field next to Congleton Leisure Centre. The objective of the event was to choose a Rescue Dog in the area to compete in the national 'RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year' Competition in October. Each dog and owner getting through to the final told their own dog rescue story. Also there were 7 other categories in our local show, including Best Veteran and Best Sausage Catcher so it provided a fun day out for dogs, dog owners and dog lovers. Any dogs could enter the show, but only rescue dogs entered the Rescue Dog category.

Competition winners will be announced shortly.
